Here are some jewelry trends from the runways this fall. What do you think of them?
1) GET STONED
Oversize, cabochon-set semi precious stones made a huge splash over the fall 2012 collections of Yves Saint Laurent, Armani and Gucci. At Chanel stones were raw and cut flat leaving the beauty of the minerals to do the talking. Get the super-stoned look with our bib necklaces and sky blue bubble bead bracelet.
2) NEON CYBER
Channel your inner cyber punk with wild techno hues and a little urban sexiness. Clashing fluoro colors and graphic patterns were all over the runways of Blumarine, Emporio Armani and Fred Butler. Layer up our fuchsia wave bangle and lime green resin bangle to make a cyber statement!
3) CHAIN MAIL
Tie yourself up in chains with some runway-inspired jewelry. Versace and Paco Rabanne presented well-linked looks with chain mail pieces featuring heavily in their fall 2012 collections. Not brave enough to sport the full-on urban warrior look? Our gold hoop dangle earrings and brushed gold link bracelet will still inject that all important urban goddess vibe.
Think baroque opulence and decadent tumbling jewels. As seen at Lanvin, Dolce and Gabanna and Armani, highly encrusted statement pieces are big news for fall. For some serious after-dark glamor team our clear crystal encrusted leverback earrings with one of our crystal pendant necklaces.
5) SHEET METAL
Hammers at the ready, it’s time to celebrate the simplicity of well-hewn precious metal. Minimalist with a matte finish, beautifully crafted metal shapes appeared at Rochas, Alexander McQueen and Salvatore Ferragamo. Calvin Klein and Philiosophy opted for sumptuous silver metal belts. Our brushed silver leaf cuff and hammered brass bib necklace are the best way hijack the sheet metal trend.
